REZUMAT
Prezentul articol a fost realizat în urma efectuării unui interviu cu Hayley Last, directoarea Departamentului de muzică din Şcoala King Edward VI -Bury St. Edmunds- UK, profesor implicat în includerea tehnologiilor informaționale în orele de educație muzicală. Infrastructura constituită corespunzător în laboratoarele din departament, existența unui manual destinat elevilor, a unui glosar de termeni precum și a unor tutoriale ce ghidează elevii în studiul disciplinei este dublată de existența unei echipe dedicate de profesori al căror scop este susţinerea elevilor spre a face performanţă. Aspectul deosebit din acestă școală, legat de tehnologiile muzicale, este oferta educațională pentru nivelul A ce oferă elevilor posibilitatea continuării studiilor în acest domeniu la nivel profesionist, 80% dintre absolvenții promoției din anul trecut au ales nivelul universitar pentru perfecționarea în tehnologiile muzicale

ABSTRACT

This article was written after conducting an interview with Hayley Last, director of the Music Department from King Edward VI School -Bury St. Edmunds- UK, a dedicated professor involved in including ICT in the classes of musical education. The infrastructure of the department’s laboratories, the existence of a handbook for students, of a glossary of the words and tutorials that guide students into the knowledge of this discipline are doubled by a team of dedicated teachers that help the pupils to achieve the best results. The particularity of this school concerning the musical technologies is due to the educational offer for the A level that enables students to continue their studies in this field at the highest level, 80% of the last year’s students have chosen to continue their studies in musical technologies at the university.
