REZUMAT

Luând act de o directivă a Parlamentului European ce vizează importanța suținerii în viitor a dezvoltării învățământului la distanță susținut prin mijloace TIC, articolul de față argumentează viabilitatea unei astfel de strategii și în cazul învățământului superior muzical românesc, printr-o metodă mixtă de predare ce nu doar că poate atinge aceleași deziderate de performanță ca și cele ale învățământului clasic, ci reprezintă în sine o strategie de supraviețuire pe termen lung, fără de care nu se va putea ține pasul cu exigențele educaționale ale viitorului.

ABSTRACT

Taking note of a directive of the European Parliament regarding the importance of supporting the future development of distance learning based on ICT means, the present article argues for the viability of such a strategy in the case of Romanian musical higher education as well, through a mixed method of teaching which can do more than merely achieve the same performance goals as those of classical education, and be in itself a long-term survival strategy without which it will not be possible to keep up with the educational demands of the future.
